Yampa Valley Medical Center’s Nutrition Services offers education and counseling on many different topics to help you maintain health, improve health and manage health problems. Registered dieticians provide individualized nutrition services to meet the nutritional needs of persons of all ages:
- Nutrition assessments, nutrition counseling for therapeutic diets
- Community nutrition education
- Outpatient medical nutrition therapy
- Personalized meal and life plans

Inpatient Meals
The YVMC nursing staff completes an initial nutrition risk screening for all inpatients. The Registered Dietician will assess all patients identified at high nutrition risk.
